NBC students efforts Recognised at Tryangle Awards

New Brompton College year 11 students Luke Goff and George Bolton were recognised for their efforts in Sports Leaders this year at the Medway Tryangle awards, held at the central theatre. George Bolton was commended for his efforts on the course, which has seen his confidence soar since he started the course. George has shown a real passion for the course and has developed into a very effective leader when working with younger students. Luke Goff, however won the overall Medway Tryangle award for sport. Luke has shown great dedication and desire to the Sports Leaders Programme and was awarded the Tryangle award due to his outstanding performance in Sports Leaders this year. Both students have been part of NBC's Sports Leaders programme which has seen the group volunteering at Skinner Street Primary School this year, teaching year 5 pupils basic sports skills and receiving very positive feedback from teachers at Skinner Street School. Well done Luke and George.

Ofsted Inspection April 28^th and 29^th 2010

We are delighted to attach below a copy of our Inspection Report from Ofsted. The outcomes of the Inspection demonstrate the complete transformation of New Brompton College in the last six and a half years.

We would like to extend our thanks to all parents/carers for their ongoing support and commitment to their children and to the school during this period.

Together students, governors, staff and parents/carers we have built NBC and should be rightly proud of establishing a good school with numerous outstanding features for the community.

We hope that the establishment of the Academy in September 2010 will mark new growth towards outstanding status.
